Lucy Naylor

As President of the Auckland Primary Principals Association, Lucy provides a strong collective voice and influence at local, regional, and national levels. She fosters authentic, functional relationships with key Ministers, the Ministry of Education, NZPF, and other peak bodies, and ensures the association is represented on numerous influential groups. This strength underpins her commitment to shaping the future direction of education in Aotearoa. Concurrent with her presidential role, Lucy leads Milford School in Auckland, where her proven record of effective school curriculum development, including expertise with the International Baccalaureate, has resulted in successful transformational change and tangible improvements in student outcomes. Lucy is passionate about growing and nurturing leaders, with a particular interest in developing effective leadership pathways. As a forward-thinking educational leader, Lucy is committed to fostering environments where both students and educators can thrive, ultimately prioritising student success.
