Kia Aroha Campus is a Y0-13 Designated Character, urban Area School in Otara, South Auckland. I have had the privilege of being Principal now for 8years.
I am an indigenous woman leading a school in the south of Auckland. Our School focus is Māori and Pasifika identity, indigenising curriculum and practices and ensuring our students can learn through their languages, where English isn’t always a priority. I am committed to lifting the profile of indigenous ways of learning and leading as a given in all educational spaces.
I have served on the executive of both Te Akatea and NZPF. I am excited to be part of the organising committee for the 2026 conference.
